Dr Allan Taylor
Dr Allan Taylor, Associate Professor and Head of School for Media at DMU, is dedicated to cultivating Leicester's creative industries into a flourishing community. With a keen focus on innovation, Dr Allan envisions Leicester Fashion District as a catalyst for merging retail, tourism, performance, art, and fashion, transforming Leicester's textile history into an immersive shopping venture.
His expertise lies in nurturing creative enterprise and entrepreneurship within grassroots creative communities. Having made impactful contributions in diverse locales such as East London, Leicester, and even extending to Kazakhstan, Dr Allan is renowned for his ability to foster organic creative networks and enterprises.
